This stone fortress hides a fascinating secret: within its austere, Moorish-style defensive walls lies the very first Italian Renaissance palace built outside of Italy, featuring a stunning Carrara marble courtyard that instantly evokes the heart of Tuscany.

Finally, the horizon opens up to reveal the Tabernas Desert the only true desert on the European continent and the legendary setting that gave birth to the Spaghetti Western. You will wander through the same arid ravines and canyons trodden by Clint Eastwood or Lawrence of Arabia, stepping into the golden age of cinema that transformed this corner of Andalusia into the Wild West.
